A Granite Falls institution, what can I say. It was perfectly Granite Falls. The food is good and the service is decent and they really try hard, no kidding. Everybody there wants you to be happy about the food and your experience there. I love that. Granite hasn't lost its' small town feel, for sure. I think they've been open since, well I remember being in there with mom and my cousins and an aunt when I was probably 8 or so....so maybe 45 years or so? An original, done right, for generations-and hopefully many more.

The Philly is awesome! They serve fried okra and I always get it as my side regardless of what else I eat. My folks like the fish sandwich. Onion rings are really good, too and huge! You can also buy a large bag of ice for only $1!

This is my favorite place to get a Carolina style burger. I don’t drive by this place as much as I did previously. It’s probably a good thing. When I drive by, I’m compelled to get a burger all-the-way. It is the best. Today, I called to try and place my order ahead of time. They were busy and the phone just kept ringing. Disappointed would be an understatement, while I thought that they were closed. Thankfully, they were open when I drove to them. What an amazing place! If you’re driving near there, it’s in your best interest to get some food there.

Visited for a late breakfast early lunch. Great service! Totally full of locals. Large menu. Since it was around 10:30 am, I went with a livermush, cheese, egg sandwich. It was pretty good. I kind of wish there was something local like this joint by where I live!

We love this little local spot. Owner really provides a community service of great customer care and good hearty food at low prices. Thanks to a local Granite Falls business that truly takes care of the locals!

City BBQ was a welcome delight for this city girl who just recently found herself in NC. The fried pickles were truly delicious!!! And the chopped BBQ sammie with the their homemade sweet BBQ sauce was wonderful! I hated getting full. Our server was polite and on the ball which made the experience extra nice. Food was served piping hot! We WILL be back!! Extra nice touch that the napkin dispensers have the daily specials posted so you know what’s available.
